Scotland U19 v Italy U19 at The Greenyards
It was great to see lots of you down at the Greenyards yesterday - great to have our first international for a while too! We were delighted to welcome Italy & Scotland U19s to the club and even more special to have Ben White co-captaining the team and Mac Rutherford on the pitch too. It wasn't Scotland's day, but we're still very proud of the boys! To read the Offside Line match report click on the button below! Phots show's President George Runciman presenting Italy's Captain with the trophy. Thanks to Elise Ross for the photo!
Match Report Scotland v Italy U19
This weeks rugby!
Well that's us starting the 7s season this weekend, with all the youngster heading to Hawick over the next couple of days. The U13s, 14s & 15s are on from 3:30pm tomorrow (Friday), the U16's & U18s are at 10am and 3:20pm respectively on Saturday - it's going to be hot, so make sure you remember your sunscreen folks! We have a touring team from Diss in Norfolk arriving to play our U15 on Saturday morning too!
Next week it's the Easter Rugby Camps, so there will hundreds of kids around the club, on Saturday 19th Hawick kicks off the senior Sevens, then on Sunday 20th we do it all over again at Berwick!
We've got lots of touring teams coming in the next couple of weeks, Macclesfield, Richmond Rugby and another team from the States! Watch out for details!
Frank Laidlaw
If you'd like to pay your final respects to Frank Laidlaw, his funeral cortege will be passing the Greenyards tomorrow at 2:45pm. RIP Frank.
I think that's all the news for this week -
Very best wishes
Hilary
